Should you find that your luggage did not arrive with you on your flight, you may rest assured that every effort will be made to restore you luggage to you as quickly as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience you may be caused.
If after five days you luggage has not been restored to you, would you please complete and return a Baggage Inventory Form that you will find here below. As this will enable us to make some further and more detailed inquiries. We kindly ask you to include size for clothing, colour and brand name of items if available.
Full claim should be made within 21 days of issue of the report, for claim to be valid.

Icelandair trusts you to understand that suitcases are designed to protect their contents. In the course of normal handling your baggage may show evidence of wear and tear.
The airline assumes no responsibility for minor cuts, scratches and dents. Or for items that protrude from suitcases, such as, retractable handles, wheels, straps and luggage carts.

If a passenger notices damage on his baggage we ask him to please go to the service desk on respective airport and fill out a damage report.
If your baggage is damaged, complaints must be made in writing to the carrier within 7 days.
