Excess Baggage

North America Excess Baggage Fees are charged if your checked baggage is oversized, overweight, or exceeds the allowable two (2) pieces each weighing up to 50lbs (23kgs).

1. For the allowable two (2) pieces of baggage each weighing 51lbs (24kgs) to 70lbs (32kgs), the following per-piece one-way fee will be collected in each direction:

Minneapolis/St. Paul,
Orlando-Sanford

2. For 3+ additional pieces each weighing 1lb-70lbs, the following per-piece one-way fee will be collected in each direction:

3. Saga Business Class: Not applicable.

Luggage weighing over the maximum weight of 70lbs (32kg) will not be permitted.

If you have luggage which exceeds the baggage allowance of 70lbs (32kg), Icelandair Cargo may be the answer you're looking for. Please contact Icelandair Cargo (1-800-221-6640) for details. The baggage in cargo will be subject to the terms and conditions for freight transportation. Customs and import regulations may differ from those which apply for checked baggage transported with the passenger.

 

Note: Excess Baggage Fees when flying between European countries differ than when traveling North America-EUR-North America.
