The hotel offers 220 rooms, including 74 newly renovated standard rooms. Its rooms feature private bath/shower with hair dryer, telephone, radio, and satellite TV. Internet access available (purchased in Iceland) Many of the rooms will be theme based with natural elements of Iceland, meaning that you can now choose between a stay in moss, glacier, northern-lights, volcano, geothermal and natural water rooms. The flora of Iceland plays a big part in the decoration of these rooms, beautiful drawings by Eggert Petursson, one of Iceland’s most distinguished artists, will play a major role.
The newly refurbished lobby area welcomes guests with a vivid video installation showcasing some magnificent scenes of some of the most precious natural elements of Iceland.
