Important : If you are arriving in Iceland on an evening flight from North America, this tour is NOT recommended for your arrival day. Passengers usually arrive at their hotel around 8am. Any delays could cause you to miss the tour departure. Icelandair cannot reimburse passengers for unused portions of a package or land only travel once travel starts.

Discover the fantastic colors and diverse landscape of South Iceland's hidden highlands! Explore Haifoss Waterfall (Iceland's second highest falls) and a reconstructed farm from the age of Viking Sagas. Guarding the valley is Mt. Hekla, Iceland's most active volcano, (The last eruption: Feb. 2000). Add even more color to your trip with a visit to Landmannalaugar Nature Preserve, famous for brilliant red and gold mountains ringing a delightful geothermal river that you can swim in! (Remember to bring your swimsuit and towel). Return to Reykjavik, refreshed after a day in spectacular settings.
