Take an enjoyable tour by bus and foot!
Reykjavik's city center is very compact, and there is no better way to discover it than by strolling the streets and experiencing Icelandic history, culture, cuisine and design at one time.
The tour starts with a short bus excursion to the neighboring town Seltjarnarnes where there is amazing sea birdlife within the town limits and unique flora during the summer months. From there, head back to the city centre. The walking tour portion starts by Hallgrímskirkja Church. Thread your way through narrow alleys framed with old timber houses, up winding lanes, and around out-of-the way corners. You will walk through the life of Reykjavik City - from its very beginnings to the present. The tour ends by the often busy fishing harbour where you can explore more of the Old Town area on your own (no transfers back to hotel)
